Increase Your Global Competitiveness through Exporting Breakfast & Workshop

The Valley Economic Alliance collaborated with the Port of Long Beach for an educational workshop on how to increase global competitiveness through exporting on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the ITT Technical Institute in Sylmar, CA.

International businesses that are new to exporting or have plans of expanding to new markets abroad attended the workshop to learn about the benefits of going global, sales and profits, reducing dependency on traditional markets and growing the company’s international reach.

A panel of experts included Gina Barro, Business Development Manager at the Port of Long Beach, Brian Peck, Deputy Director for International Affairs and Business Development of the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), Greg Moore, Regional Director at Export-Import Bank and Dan Gardner, President and Owner of Trade Facilitators, Inc.
