Introducing the Valley.net, an on-line international trade directory that is your go to website to find the information you need to do business with companies that specialize in international trade. The San Fernando Valley is home to a variety of industries most notably, international trade, a thriving industry with a staggering variety of world-class businesses generating products and services from banking, aerospace engineering and legal services to computer parts, avionics, cosmetics and adhesive products at a rate that has transformed the Valley – our Valley – into one of the most vibrant business centers in the country with international trade one of the primary drivers of its diverse and dynamic economy.
The Valley Economic Alliance & Valley International Trade Association
Working to maintain that growth, The Valley Economic Alliance and The Valley International Trade Association are working with Valley-based chambers of commerce, trade organizations and economic development agencies to provide your company with a new, unique tool to help you develop and maintain a competitive edge in today’s dynamic global marketplace.
San Fernando Valley International Trade Directory
That tool is the San Fernando Valley International Trade Directory, a first-of-its-kind web publication crafted as a useful informational resource for both those international traders – importers, exporters, distributors, manufacturers, etc. – around the world who are interested in doing business in the Valley, as well as those companies in the Valley looking to connect with local service providers, potential business partners or others to expand their global business profile. This is a comprehensive, usable, and accurate resource for the community to use.
More to Come from VITA
In the upcoming months we will be supplementing the site with infrastructural maps showing the freeways, rail lines, etc. serving the Valley and provide internet “links” to regional infrastructural assets such as the ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Port Hueneme and Los Angeles International Airport; informative profiles of companies in the San Fernando Valley that rely strongly on their international operations to enhance their bottom-line; and other useful trade-related information.
We wanted to create a place where everyone can find the resources they need to make their business grow and flourish. One of our main goals for this redesign was to streamline and simplify the process of finding information related to international trade. Because the valley.net home page is the first page most people will see when they visit our site, we wanted to make sure a diverse set of users could access as much information as possible, on the tool bar you will see “International Trade” Moreover, the main content of the page will be available through a tabbed interface that will allow users to click through to whichever section in which they are interested.
