Economic Development & Retention

“To expand, retain, and attract businesses and jobs in the five-city San Fernando Valley region.”

Purpose of Initiative

The purpose of the Economic Development and Retention Initiative is to foster economic growth and prosperity for businesses in the San Fernando Valley.

Through our Business Assistance Program, in partnership with the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp. (LAEDC), The Valley Economic Alliance can help your business obtain permits, financing, tax credits and more.

By accessing various sources of information, The Alliance provides up-to-date economic and statistical data. Our real estate brokers network helps find sites for new businesses or expansion. In concert with the Training Alliance, we customize employee-training programs and help you recruit qualified workers. In addition, we coordinate business events such as The Valley Economic Summit and The Valley Business Expo.

We work hard to constantly build key relationships with business and government leaders so that when you’re ready, we can plug you in to these kinds of relationships. Sometimes, it really is who you know!
