North Hollywood has been revitalized in recent years as an arts center.  The NoHo Arts District includes the spectacular Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Complex with its Hall of Fame Plaza at the intersection of Lankershim Boulevard and Magnolia Avenue, where you can see statues of television's greatest legends, including longtime Valley residents like Bob Hope, Steve Allen and Lucille Ball.

An annual NoHo Arts Festival includes free performances at area theaters, music, dancing, an international food court and an arts and crafts fair.  Among the theaters that have participated in past festivals are the Lankershim Arts Center, Group Repertory Theatre, El Portal Theatre Center the Raven Playhouse and the NoHoActors Studio.

North Hollywood also boasts the outer-most station of the heralded Metro Red Line -- the new subway connecting North Hollywood with Universal City, Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles.
